The Pleasure of Paint

I have begun exploring digital painting. It is remarkable how long it has taken to bridge the gap between digital design and visual art. I have been designing for over a decade, and painting physically for much longer than that. It is only this year that the crossover has felt accessible. Using "brushes" and layers in photoshop, I can access a creative state of mind that I so delight in, and which is rarely accessible on screen in painterly terms.

What do you think? Does this "feel" like paint?
